About St. Peter
A Church Plant That Grew Into a Movement
Founded in 2006 by Pastor Robert Balduc as a church plant from Peace Lutheran Church in Hurst, St. Peter has grown from worshipping in a recreation center to a thriving community on 16 acres in Northlake, Texas.
We are part of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS), grounded in historic Christian teachings while embracing modern approaches to worship and ministry.
Our worship philosophy is simple: “Ancient Word. Sacrament. Modern Music. Message.” We celebrate Holy Communion every Sunday and welcome everyone—no matter your background.
Sunday Worship

Ancient-Future Worship
Our "Ancient Word / Modern Music" approach honors Lutheran liturgical traditions while incorporating contemporary worship songs and relevant teaching.

Education has been central to Lutheran ministry since the Reformation. At St. Peter School, we continue this tradition through programs that engage both mind and heart.
St. Peter Preschool
Ages 2 through PreK. Accredited by LSAC and NLSA. Instilling Christian teachings, attitudes, and principles from the start.
Elementary School - Coming 2026-27
Expanding our accredited Preschool into a full Christian Elementary School for the 2026-27 school year.
Confirmation Program
For 6th–8th graders to "confirm" their baptismal faith in core Christian teachings.
