Our Story
A journey of faith, growth, and community since 2006
A Seed is Planted
St. Peter was started by Pastor Robert Balduc as a church plant out of Peace Lutheran Church in Hurst, TX. With faith as our foundation, we began gathering as a small community with a big vision for the future.
First Home & Preschool
After worshiping in the Roanoke recreation center for four years, St. Peter purchased ten acres of land and built its first facility, launching St. Peter Preschool to serve families in the community.
The Vine in Grapevine
St. Peter planted its first daughter church, The Vine, in Grapevine—extending our reach and multiplying our mission to share the Gospel across North Texas.
The Barn is Built
We constructed The Barn, a versatile community space that would become a hub for fellowship, events, and gathering—cementing St. Peter as a cornerstone of the community.
The Grove in Argyle
Even in challenging times, our mission continued. St. Peter planted The Grove in Argyle, our second daughter church, bringing hope and community to a new neighborhood.
Room to Grow
St. Peter purchased six additional acres of land, expanding our campus and creating space for future ministry, education, and community development.
Reclaimed in Justin
Our third daughter church, Reclaimed, was planted in Justin—continuing our commitment to bold, entrepreneurial, mission-minded expansion across North Texas.
A New Chapter in Education
St. Peter is building an educational facility to expand its Preschool and establish a Christian elementary school for the 2026-27 school year. We're also partnering with the Greater Northwest Soccer Association to develop multiple sports fields on our property.
